Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Ditto (operated by Veloura), an AI-powered fashion discovery service available at velouraapp.com. By using the service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

Ditto lets you upload outfit photos. Our AI detects each clothing item, then we surface shopping links — including affiliate links — across a range of budgets. We may also offer optional features like a wardrobe ("closet"), outfit suggestions, creator profiles, and a public "Shop My Look" feed.

2. Affiliate disclosure

Some product links on Ditto are affiliate links. If you click them and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. We also pay a share of that commission to Ditto creators when you buy through their published looks.

Affiliate commissions do not influence which products our AI shows you. The ranker prioritizes match quality, price spread, and the merchant's reliability — not commission rate.

Participating affiliate networks include Rakuten, Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, Impact, ShareASale, AWIN, and SkimLinks.

3. Accounts + eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Ditto. If you're between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
• One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You're responsible for any activity on your account. Notify us at security@velouraapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Photos you upload

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant Ditto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display those photos solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service for you.

Only upload photos you have the right to upload. If you upload a screenshot from Instagram, Pinterest, or another platform, you are responsible for ensuring that use is permitted (for example, that it's your own photo, or that it's fair use, or that you have the photographer's permission). We will respond to valid takedown notices — see our DMCA Policy.

We do not use your photos to train AI models. We do not publish your photos to other users unless you explicitly share them (e.g., by saving them to a public album or publishing a creator look).

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Upload content that is illegal, obscene, sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, or that depicts a minor in any sexual or harmful context.
• Upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract data from the service.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our model weights, prompts, or training data.
• Use the service to build a competing product or compile a competing product dataset.
• Bypass our rate limits, abuse our APIs, or otherwise interfere with normal operation.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Manipulate affiliate-click attribution (e.g., self-clicking your own links to inflate commission).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required.

6. Free tier + paid tiers

Ditto is free to use with daily upload limits (currently 10 uploads/day for signed-in users after a 7-day trial, with abuse caps of 30 uploads/hour). We may adjust these limits as we balance cost and capacity.

A paid Pro subscription is planned (target: mid-2026) with higher limits and additional features. Pricing, refund terms, and a separate billing addendum will be published before launch. Nothing in these Terms commits you to a paid plan; you stay on the free tier unless you explicitly subscribe.

7. Creator program

Approved Ditto creators can publish "looks" (curated outfit boards) and earn a share of affiliate commissions on resulting purchases. Specific terms:

• Creator status is granted at our discretion based on an application. We may revoke creator status for violations of these Terms or our community guidelines.
• Commission share follows a published ladder (Apprentice 70% → Established 80% → Featured 80% → Founding 50 90%). Tier changes are based on activity and earnings thresholds.
• Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect once your balance crosses the minimum payout threshold. Earnings are payable only after the underlying retailer confirms the transaction (typically 30–90 days after purchase).
• Creators are independent contractors, not employees. You are responsible for your own taxes.
• Looks you publish must comply with § 5 and our content guidelines. You also disclose affiliate links on any external promotion of your Ditto looks, as required by FTC rules.

8. Product accuracy

Our AI does its best to identify items and find similar products, but matches are not always exact. Prices, availability, sizing, and shipping are controlled by the third-party retailer — not by Ditto. Always verify on the retailer's site before purchasing.

9. Termination

You can stop using Ditto and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy, § 6). We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms or for activity we reasonably believe is harmful to Ditto or other users.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that product matches will be accurate. Use of the service is at your own risk.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated Terms.
